Mission Statement:

The mission of the CUSD 200 Speech/Language Pathology Department is to ensure that all students from three through 21 years of age achieve their highest potential as functional communicators within their academic and community settings. Using diagnostic tools and progress monitoring, highly qualified therapists support students' needs in the areas of articulation, receptive/expressive/pragmatic language skills, voice and fluency, thus facilitating effective communication skills for academic, emotional, and social success. Educational staff members and parents are supported by the Speech and Language Pathologists through collaboration and on-going education to maximize student growth in the area of communication.
